Welcome to the new site

I’ve always wanted to capture this journey I’m on. One of entrepreneurship, branding, creativity, family and life from my perspective. Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve always been fascinated by websites. A place on the internet one can call home. A shopfront in the virtual world. A piece of digital property that gives a business entity credibility and trust.

I knew I wanted a website from the first day I set on this path. From getting it done on geocities (yeah, that old) to obtaining .tk domains (which are free because the country’s internet infrastructure was not developed enough)… I have been playing with website building for the longest time.

I needed a solid platform. Previously, my staples were things like Dreamweaver, pure hand coded HTML & CSS, Adobe Muse and last but not least, Wordpress. However, this website is on Squarespace. And while I’ve just got started with exploring this platform, I must say I quite like it.

Don’t get me wrong, Wordpress is still excellent as a choice. But you need expertise to build and maintain it well. Truth is, I’ve not touched a Wordpress site for many years now. I have an amazing team at Neu Entity to do that. So I’m very rusty at running a Wordpress site by now.

Enter Squarespace, with its heavy advertising, witty messaging and overall great brand (which I’m a sucker for) — I decided to give it a try when a friend told me that my site is facing security issues again.

I’ve got so much to share and I feel that my preferred format is to blog. I live in the world of branding and marketing. Video is known as the preferred format in most channels. But I believe that blogging is far from dead. I shall talk about this in more detail in future.

Thank you for reading this welcome message and I hope you will enjoy your experience here in my little corner of the internet.
